Vision, Mission and Strategy of the Higher College of Engineering and Technology
NSEI "Higher Engineering and Technological College" is one of the leading organizations of technical and vocational education in ZKO. Specialists are trained in 16 specialties in full-time and part-time forms of education.
At the Pedagogical Council (Minutes No. 1 of August 31, 2016), the college's mission was adopted: "The use of innovative teaching methods is the basis for training highly-demanded specialists." The uniqueness of the mission of the college lies in the clarity of the clearly stated formulation and the relevance of the mission in time.
On the basis of the formulated vision of the college: "Professional specialists in demand in the labor market, with skills and abilities of work", which reflects the implemented directions of development of the college in the future. The goal of the mission is to improve educational and educational processes in accordance with the needs of society and the industrial and innovative development of the region through the use of innovative teaching technologies.Based on the above mission goal, the following college development objectives were formulated:• implementation of the Law "On Education", other decisions of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, decrees, orders and recommendations of the Department of Education of the WKO;• determination of the optimal composition of educational programs based on labor market research;• updating the content of education;• achieving compliance of the functioning and development of the pedagogical process in college with the requirements of the state educational standard;• organization of creative collective work on the general methodological theme of the college "Training of qualified specialists using innovative technologies - the basis of a competitive society";introduction and effective use of modern teaching technologies;• ensuring the qualitative growth of teaching staff and strengthening the material and technical base as the basis for the training of highly qualified personnel; improving the organization of the educational process; informatization of the content of education;• improvement of the rating system for assessing the activities of teachers, PCC;• introduction of a mechanism for advanced training of teachers and masters of industrial training, systematic training of employees at enterprises;• continue to work on the creation and improvement of the quality content of educational and methodological complexes, electronic and teaching aids;• development of the intellectual capabilities of students and professional competencies in order to train highly qualified specialists who are popular in the modern labor market;• attracting students to research activities;• the material base and information structure of the VITK, equipping classrooms with modern means of information and communication technology, etc. The mission, goals and objectives of the college correspond to the goals, objectives and priorities of the development of the education system, purposefully form a harmoniously developing personality and the development of the region in every possible way. In order to determine a real contribution to the development of the Western region of the Republic of Kazakhstan in providing qualified personnel and positioning in the TVE system, the college annually participates in the Rating of Colleges conducted by the NJSC "Kasipkor Holding" (the results are shown on the website: http: /kasipkor.kz). So, in 2017, out of 326 colleges that took part in the ranking of LEU, VITK took 7th place, and among non-state colleges, 1st place. 2018 out of 270 colleges took 31st place, among non-state colleges 5th place. In 2019, it took 30th place out of 176 colleges, and 5th place among non-state colleges.In the national business rating, the college was assigned a SILVER RATING:in 2016, TOP-30 enterprises-leaders of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the all-Russian financial and economic rating of enterprises according to the criteria "Industry Leader" and "Tax Amount";- in 2017, TOP-25 enterprises-leaders of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the all-Russian financial and economic rating of enterprises according to the indicator "Contribution to the non-state budget";- in 2019, the TOP-25 leading enterprises of the Republic of Kazakhstan, formed on the basis of a financial and economic analysis of enterprises in terms of the "Exemplary taxpayer" indicator.Based on the analysis of the implementation of the strategic plan for 2014-2019. and the positioning of the college in the TVE system in the 2019-2020 academic year, the strategic plan for the development of the college for 2020-2025 was revised and adopted. The college's strategic documents are aligned with national priorities, mission and strategy uniqueness. ConformityTheir compliance and achievement of goals, target indicators, tasks, results indicators and the implementation of activities of the State Program for the Development of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2016-2019 and the Action Plan for the implementation of the State Program for the Development of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2016-2019 are shown in the report on the implementation of the State education development policy.The basis for revising the Strategic Documents is the implementation of the strategic plan for 2014-2019. and further improvement of educational programs in accordance with the new requirements of the labor market. To develop a strategic plan for 2020-2025, an organizing committee was created, which included the heads of the college departments and employers.When attracting candidates from production, the rating of the enterprise in the labor market, the experience of joint cooperation, the work experience of the specialist were taken into account.
