REGULATIONS ON THE ACTIVITIES OF STUDENT SELF-GOVERNMENT

  1. Basic provisions

1.1. Student self-government is an organization that provides the development of independent activities aimed at making decisions that allow you to achieve socially significant goals of the team. Student self-government organizes active joint work, prepares future specialists for relations in the team. Participation in student self-government allows the student to be qualitatively and responsibly in the educational process, influencing the improvement of behavior and academic performance, contributes to the development of organizational and creative abilities.


1.2. Assistance in the formation of a civic culture, an active civic position of students, their social development, the development of the ability to independent activity, the need for self-organization and self-development;


1.3. Ensuring the rights of the student to participate in the management of the educational institution, the right to assess the quality of the educational process;


1.4. Student self-government, formation of skills, preparation for responsible and competent participation in the life of society.

 

  1. Composition of student self-government

The head of the student government is appointed by an activist and an excellent student of the college. The Student Government Manager manages the self-government system, implements the plans and is a member of the college board, and identifies the interests of the college students. Directs the activities of the student government. The head of the student self-government, together with the deputy, having determined the composition of the student self-management, divides the educational work in the areas of activity, appointing those responsible.


The composition of the student government according to the areas of activity:

  1. Head of student self-government;
  2. Deputy head of the student government for educational work (monitoring of academic performance, identifying the reasons for missing classes, helping students with poor academic performance, collecting information about students who violated the internal rules of the college);
  3. Deputy head of the student government for scientific work (identifying students interested in science and facilitating their participation in various scientific conferences and seminars);
  4. The deputy head of the student government for cultural work (with the help of the heads of the debate club, KVNa, sports, dance ensemble to organize various concerts, song and dance evenings, political events);
  5. Deputy Head of Student Self-government for work with Non-governmental organizations.

 

  1. Main goals

 

3.1. To show the capabilities of students in front of the college administration, to raise the image of the college among higher and secondary specialized educational institutions at the state and international level;


3.2. Organization of systematic work and carrying out activities in the functional areas of social life, development of managerial abilities and internal potential;

 
3.3. Improving the efficiency of the college's educational process, developing an active life and civic position;


3.4. Maintaining a healthy lifestyle, developing students ' leadership and organizational skills, increasing their social activity;


3.5. Support in solving social and everyday issues in the life of students, systematic development of student self-government mechanisms at the college level.

 

  1. Responsibilities

 

4.1. Improving the literacy of students, diversity in their studies, preserving the property of the college, strengthening order in the academic building, educating students with a sense of responsibility;


4.2. It is obliged to work with the students of the college in compliance with the charter and internal order of the college.


4.3. Joint work with the administration and structural divisions of the college in such areas as education, science and education.


4.4. Monitor the timely consideration of applications and proposals from students;


4.5. Appropriate implementation of the plans and regulations of the Student Government for the academic year.


4.6. Protection of the rights and interests of students before the college administration, state bodies, public organizations and various associations.


4.7. Must inform the administration of the college about the work done.

 

  1. Rules of conduct of work

 

5.1. The student self-government is formed as a coordinating body, where the students of the college constantly work and in their work is based on the present regulation.


5.2. Student self-government functions as an organization consisting of students. Its members perform their duties on a voluntary basis.


5.3. The activities and decisions of the student government are directed at all students. Student self government works according to the plan approved by the Deputy Director for Educational work.


5.4. For the rational management of the organization of education, for the effective exchange of information, the student government works closely with the college administration.


5.5. The student government works closely with the heads of departments and group supervisors.


5.6.  Attracts students to solve all issues related to the training of highly professional and competitive specialists in the labor market.


5.7. Make suggestions for improving the quality of the learning process, taking into account the scientific and professional interests of students.


5.8. Protection of the rights and interests of students and their representation.


5.9. Teaching in the interests of students, influence the solution of social and other issues.


5.10. Preservation and development of democratic traditions among students. 


5.11. Support and assistance to the management of the college, departments, methodological office, library, educational work in solving problems of education and science, organizing students ' recreation, promoting a healthy lifestyle and other activities carried out within the framework of the educational process.


5.12. Improving the literacy of students and conducting work aimed at improving self-education, careful attitude to property, fostering a patriotic attitude to the traditions of the organization of education.


5.13. Support for young people in the implementation of socially important initiatives.
