Professional practice and industrial training

The organization of professional training includes industrial training and professional practice.

Industrial training of students is carried out in the training and production workshops of the college, in the workshops of "UralTehServis" LLP, in JSC "Uralskneftegazgeologiya", in the laboratories of the research veterinary station, in the research complex of veterinary medicine, biotechnology and ichthyology under the guidance of the heads of industrial training.

Together with the interested enterprises, working curricula and the schedule of industrial training have been developed and agreed upon. The content of the training programs of industrial training is determined in accordance with the curricula and qualification requirements. When organizing professional practice and industrial training, the college is based on the following fundamental documents:

1. Law on Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 319 of 27.07.2007;
2. SSO RK;
3. Standard training programs;
4. Contracts for the opening of branches of specialties;
5. Internship agreements;
6. Documents on the Dual training system;
7. "Rules for organizing and conducting practice and rules for determining organizations as practice bases" Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 107 dated January 29, 2016.

To date, more than 50 contracts for the passage of professional practices, 12 contracts for dual training, 3 contracts for the opening of branches of specialties in production have been drawn up. All practices are conducted on the basis of individual tripartite agreements: "Educational institution-Student-Enterprise". In the 2020/2021 academic year, the college works with 61social partners of the city and region.

Professional practice is carried out in the relevant organizations in independent workplaces provided by employers on the basis of an agreement concluded between the college and the enterprise.It is aimed at consolidating the knowledge gained in the course of training, acquiring practical skills and mastering best practices. 

To maximize the approximation of the study of theoretical material to the practical working conditions in the accredited specialties, the OP has introduced dual and modular training technologies. In accordance with the Rule on dual training in the working curricula of the specialties 1201000 "Maintenance, repair and operation of road transport", 1202000 "Organization of transportation and traffic management", the volume of hours of industrial training has been increased to 60% . With modular training, after a certain training cycle, it is provided to receive working specialties: -1513032 "Veterinary orderly; 1513012 "Operator for veterinary treatment of animals; 1201062 "Electrician for the repair of automotive electrical equipment", 0902012 "Electrical installation for switchgear"; 1202032 "Ticket cashier"; 1202022 "Baggage cashier commodity (cargo)"; 1201102 "Accumulator"; 1201072 "Car repair mechanic"; 1201092 "Transport repair master"; 1304012 "Digital information processing specialist". Such training technologies allow to eliminate the "gap" between theory and practice, allows students to establish themselves in the right choice of profession, increase motivation to further gain practical knowledge, reduce the time and cost of finding the right specialists for the enterprise, increase the percentage of graduates 'employment and raise partnerships to a new level of "College-Student-Enterprise".

A special role in industrial training is given to the Dual training system. Since 2012, in the specialties 1201000 "Maintenance, repair and operation of automobile transport", 1202000 " Organization of transportation and traffic management (by industry)" and 1513000 "Veterinary Medicine", training of students in this system has begun. To date, 10 tripartite agreements have been concluded with such enterprises as "Ural Techservice" LLP, "Izdenis" LLP, "Passenger-Auto" LLP, "Uralskagroremmash" JSC, "Ardaktau" Training Center, "Kazakhavtodor" RSE, "KazAvtoZhol" NC ZKOF, "Scientific Research Veterinary Station" LLP. The coverage of students in the dual system of education is 317 students. The advantage of the dual training system is that a high motivation in obtaining knowledge is achieved, and a new psychology of the future employee is formed. Students, having first established themselves in the company as potential employees, learn in a completely different way, more consciously and with interest. The position of a passive consumer of educational information is replaced by an initiative position of a specialist in production, who needs to make decisions and be responsible for them. The teacher first adapts to the production relations in the team, learns social actions.

Training in the specialties of DSO is conducted on the basis of "Ural Techservice" LLP, "Ural Transformer Plant" LLP, "Passenger-Auto" LLP, Zap. Kaz. branch of "Scientific Research Veterinary Station" LLP, "Veterinary Department for WKO" under the guidance of teachers of special disciplines.

So, in October 2019, students of the specialty 1513000 - "Veterinary Medicine" passed industrial training on the basis of "Kubley" LLP. Each student was provided with a paid workplace. The most active, who showed their knowledge, skills and abilities well, were rewarded with letters of thanks.
