Methodological work of the Higher engineering-technological College acts as a factor in the development of the creative potential of teachers, improving teaching skills and professional competencies that contribute to improving the quality of the educational process, aimed at creating conditions for professional growth.
The methodological work of the Higher engineering-– technological College is directed by the methodological Council.
Its main objectives are:
- improve education;
- preparation of instructions and recommendations for improving the educational and training activities of the College;
- providing methodological assistance to College teachers;
- analysis of work programs and didactic materials of College teachers;
- introduction and research of innovations in the field of education and upbringing;
- study of best teaching practices, generalization and dissemination;
- the organization of scientific-research and creative work of teachers and students;
- implementation of decisions of the pedagogical Council on methodological issues.

Pedagogical collective of the College, working on a single methodological topic: "Formation and development of competitive specialists using modern innovative technologies", effectively uses the following learning technologies in the classroom: interactive technology, problem-based learning, development of critical thinking skills, technology for conducting debates, training technologies, portfolio, technology for group work, technology for learning based on graphic and some models of educational materials, dual system.
In the methodical cabinet there are methodical councils, seminars, pedagogical readings, as well as the methodical office provides significant methodological assistance in conducting lessons and lectures. The work of the "school of the beginning teacher"is organized and carried out. This office is designed for conducting lessons, seminars, round tables, and introducing new learning technologies. The Cabinet pays great attention to the certification of teachers, dissemination of best practices, scientific and educational work.
As part of a single methodological day, certified teachers conduct open lessons. During these lessons, College teachers effectively used new educational technologies, a multimedia projector, a computer, an interactive whiteboard, and information and communication technologies. Along with the teachers of our College, these lessons are attended by teachers of other colleges, members of the methodical Cabinet of technical and professional training, as well as the chairmen of regional methodological associations. Teachers ' lessons are held at a high methodological level and are offered for distribution to other colleges. There are also extracurricular activities, class hours, conversations, conferences, round tables, debates, and others. During this time, the College holds a week of disciplines in all departments. Elements of training and a rating system for assessing knowledge with a credit system of training are being introduced, intermediate control is carried out on a computer, and 80% of teachers use an interactive whiteboard and a multimedia projector in the educational process.
The main goal of scientific and methodological work:
- Improving the content of education, constantly updating technologies that ensure compliance with the requirements of the State mandatory standard of education of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
- improving teaching methods, improving the effective conduct of all types of training sessions based on a competency-based approach;
- use of innovative methods, forms, types, and means of the educational system;
- improving the quality of professional training through the use of new educational technologies.
Tasks:
- Development and updating of the content of educational and methodical documentation, correction of educational and methodical complexes;

In the Higher engineering-technological College, in order to provide methodological assistance to young and newly started teachers, the "school of a novice teacher" operates. "School of Young Teachers" is an integral part of the methodological service of the Higher engineering-technological College, which unites young specialists and newly arrived teachers in the system of professional education. "School of Young Teachers" - a team of constantly working professional teachers.
Goal:
- organization and creation of conditions for professional growth of young specialists;
- formation of high professional qualifications, development of their own generation and maturation of their own needs.
Tasks:
- ensuring continuous continuation of professional knowledge of the young specialist, theoretical and methodological level and professional development;
- creating conditions for the realization of professional opportunities;
- improving the productive side of the teacher's work, teaching teachers how to get out of problematic situations, helping to form the style of a young specialist's own pedagogical activity;
- identification and resolution of emerging professional and methodological difficulties that arise in the learning process;
- promote the introduction of elements of best practices and modern technologies in the educational process;
- develop skills in conducting diagnostics and self-diagnostics.
At the beginning of the school year, an action plan for the "school of a novice teacher" is developed and approved by the Director of the educational institution.
